Ecorin Village – Day trip from Sapporo.
Known for the largest tomato plant in the world, Ecorin Village is an Ecology themed farm located in Eniwa, just an hour drive away from Sapporo. It is spread over hundreds of hectares of farmland and is also one the largest sheep farms in Japan.
The farm has several themed gardens such as a Rose Garden with thousands of varieties of edible roses, Ginga Teien an European inspired garden with a dynamic landscape and fairyland charm, a garden shop and plants nursery, and various activity centers to try hands on programs with your family or friends. A sheep herding show along with a view of Alpacas and other farm animals grazing freely is also an interesting site. Ecorin village also has campgrounds with BBQ sites and rental equipment available.
